Home Energy Audit

You can have your home inspected by a trained energy advisor for $50.  With permission, the advisor can install energy efficient devices, such as water efficient shower heads and programmable thermostats. The advisor will also safety check your gas furnace for carbon monoxide levels and efficiency. After the review, you will receive a personalized report of your home’s efficiency with generous discounts, rebates, and incentives towards upgrades. Visit Columbia’s website to schedule an audit.

Rebates on Energy Saving Products

You can receive a $25 rebate on up to two qualifying, programmable thermostats or a $75 rebate on up to two qualifying, smart thermostats. You can also receive a $10 rebate on up to three qualifying, water efficient shower heads. You can also purchase eligible products at a local retailer and get a mail-in rebate.

Trying to update your appliances? If you are upgrading your furnace, boiler, or water heater, you can earn a rebate from Columbia by using an approved contractor. The rebate for a new furnace, boiler, and water heater are $300, $350, and $100 respectively. Renters, landlords, homeowners, and property mangers all qualify for these discounts. To learn more, call 1-877-644-6674.

Online Home Energy Checkup

On Columbia’s website, you can find where your home is wasting energy and learn how much money you could save by making improvements and qualify for discounts. After taking the survey, you will receive customized advice on how to begin saving right away.
